Scheduling catalog indexing never ends for some of the devices

Hi All :)

 

Lastly we have reinstalled Acronis Managed Console (on-prem) as we noticed some problems with the previous one. We manage to connect our Storage Nodes (we have two) to the new console. After that we are noticing many (MANY) tasks "Scheduling catalog indexing" for plenty of devices that does not end. PROBABLY because of that our Acronis ESX appliances hangs during backups so also many of our backups fails. We can see that the newest version of Acronis brings many problems - can You confirm ?

I have checked the records and I can't find open tickets with the behavior you just described.

The following KB should be followed for this case: https://kb.acronis.com/content/45992 .

I would advise you to increase the RAM of that VA as a test and check if the issue persists. You can also reschedule the backups so they won't all be executed at the same time. That can cause the VA to overload.
