Does the backup retention period influence the final amount charged to the customer?
Hi, I have a question about billing.
If a customer hires 1TB of cloud space for their backups and is charged U$ X,XX per month. Does the retention time influence the final price? That is, if he chooses to keep 6 months of backup retention, will the amount charged increase, or will he only be charged the amount for the space occupied by the backups, 1TB?

Retention period is not a chargable metric (at least not in the current version). That said, when you increase the retention period, you have more restore points and consequently the disk usage will increase as well.
If the customer bought a 1TB plan, and has a 3 month backup retention period and only uses ie 200GB / 1TB, then changing to 6 months retention will not increase his pricing since his usage will only go up a little - ie to 250GB.
But if he's at 900GB usage already, it's quite possible that by increasing the retention period his usage will exceed 1TB, thus resulting in an additional charge to upgrade to the next plan.
