Find files in a folder with thousands of files
When there is a folder with 30.000-40.000 files in it, how is it possible to find a file in that folder?
It takes days to search a folder like that.
Does anyone know if another provider has some functionality for this?
It cannot just be Acronis that has a non-working software for that.

Customer does not know when the files was created on the source server.
He has used Acronis many years ago and are so disappointed that a feature like this has not been implemented after so many years. So we lost that customer now.

It's probably faster to just restore the entire folder to an alternative location, then pick the file you want from there and copy it to the location you want.

We could really need a solution to this problem. Already lost one customer because of this.
And we also could need this for our own systems aswell.

I also had some cases where find and restore files from acronis web console was too long or impossible. There is the fast/easy possibility to open local backup storage (.tibx) on windows device and navigate with explorer (the file manager) but is slow and often freezes and crashes.
I then mounted the tibx of the local backups on a vm linux from the command line with some "acrocmd" commands and once a specific restore point was mounted, it was possible to do elaborate searches also on archives with over a million files
