ACPHO Build 40252 or 40278
I see the announcement for Build 40252, but downloading new version gives you 40278.
Even the download page states 40252, but really serves 40278. Don't see any announcement.
I was just checking to see if anyone updating has run into any new issues.

Thanks for the link - this is the kind of info I was looking for. I guess I gave up my search too soon. The Forum is painfully slow and my patience with it is wearing thin.
I too do not use Realtime Protection so your testing gives me some confidence to proceed with upgrade, but not enough. I never want to be an early adopter, for obvious reasons. I think I'll wait a bit until the confusion shakes out.
Overall release process is quite disturbing.

Dear Acronis user,
We apologise for the inconvenience.
We've decided to unpublish the Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office product with build number 40278, as we've detected an issue affecting a minor segment of our users with a specific version of Anti-malware component installed.
As user trust in our product is most important to us, we've immediately replaced the old build with 40338, to prevent more users experiencing the same problem.
We’d like to ensure you that the issue is now fully resolved with the new build, even for users who have previously downloaded the build 40278.
