inaccessible boot device
Hello,
unfortunately I have a massive problem. The background:
The attempt to disable the Bitlocker on the system partition of my laptop unfortunately broke off in the middle of it. This means that access to it is no longer possible, neither with nor without a key.
Luckily, a weekly backup to a NAS is made. I copied this onto a USB disk. I also had a second, largely identical M.2 SSD in reserve. I installed these and then waited expectantly to run the restore.
So far so good. Unfortunately, however, in the end very, very bad. Because no boot is possible. Each attempt ends with "inaccessible bootdevice". However, the data is available on C:, as a test via cmd from the advanced boot options shows.
What could be the problem here? What can I do?
Best regards from Berlin
René
Addendum:
At the end of the day it was actually only a single start in "safe mode" (hope the translation fits here), and the problem was fixed.
It's still unclear to me why another M.2 SSD apparently needed a different driver here. However, this seems to be much more complex than it used to be when swapping SATA disks, where only the controller needed a suitable driver.
René
