unavailable partition after recovery

Thread needs solution

Hello everyone,

i'm new to acronis true image, recently i created a [.tib ] image (with true image 2014) from my windows partion (not my other partitions!). after a while i decided to recover my windows partition (with bootable usb), during process i "just selected the backed up partition as source and just my current windows partition as destination", after recovery my OS boot up was successful.BUT!!! now my another partition is missing!!! i did a partition recovery not a Disk recovery!!!

i checked the Windows 10 disk management to see that my another partition is there but without Drive letter and label, and disk management tool give me error and i can't do anything about it !?

it seems my (D:\) partition is there intact but somehow windows doesn't recognize it !?

PS: drive content "is not unallocated", actually i'm looking for a way to restore it unharmed.

any thought or sugestion would be appreciated :)

Hello Morteza.

It's possible that during the recovery process, the partition table on the disk was changed, causing Windows to no longer recognize the partition. You can try using a partition recovery tool to recover the partition. There are many tools available online, both free and paid, that can help you recover the partition. Some popular ones include EaseUS Partition Master, MiniTool Partition Wizard, and TestDisk.

Before using any partition recovery tool, it's important to create a backup of your current partition layout and data, to ensure that you don't accidentally overwrite any important data. Once you have a backup, you can try using the partition recovery tool to scan the disk and recover the missing partition.

Hope this helps.

Thanks in advance.
