Acronis preventing Windows 10 to shut down

It seems that a problem that occurred years ago is now surfacing again. Acronis is randomly preventing Windows 10 from shutting down. It happened already with True Image 2021 and happens now again with the new Acronis version, despite having uninstalled True Image 2021 and cleaned my computer before installing Cyber Protect Home Office.

It took me a while to found out whether it was Acronis or not, but latest Windows event's log leaves no place for doubt. Here it is: The Acronis Managed Machine Service Mini service did not shut down properly after receiving a preshutdown control.

I think your problem is best passed to Acronis support.  I have not seen any other post concerning the problem you describe in these pages.

I agree with Enchanted. Also consider that if you do not use the Dashboard features then it is perfectly safe to disable the Managed Machine Service Mini service.

Ok, thanks for the answers above. I also sent the report to Acronis. I will probably try to install Windows again to see if it fixes the problem.
