Backups to NAS keep reverting to main drive

Thread needs solution

This is a new problem. I've been running backups without issue for years, now in the last few weeks, I've been going to work on my PC only to get a message that the drive is full. This is because the Acronis Cyber Protect backup just suddenly decided to backup both my drives (both local) to the main drive, instead of to the NAS they were originally set up to back up on. This has happened twice, and they only solution has ben to delete the backups, delete the backup files made on the main drive, and recreate them. The backup works, but at least once, the following week it did it again. This is beyond frustrating. I'm beginning to feel that feature creep is killing this program.

This is an Acronis issue - see forum topic: True Image 2020 -Backup option settings loss

I can only recommend that you and any other affected users contact Arpita Ghosh who is the new Acronis Product Manager for these home products! (Arpita.Ghosh@acronis.com).

Note: it should only be necessary to set the AMMSM service to Manual but it is also recommended to sign out of your Acronis Account if you have a Perpetual license product.
