QNAP Backup problems

Thread needs solution

Hi, I have Acronis Cyber Protect Office installed and when I try to make a backup, I get the error "NETWORK DISCONNECTED" I can connect to my QNAP from windows explorer without problem, the credentials are correct, but I can't make a backup and I can't find the solution to this problem. I hope you can help me.

Regards.

welcome to these public User Forums.

More information is needed here.

Screen images of your backup task showing how you are selecting the Destination to your QNAP NAS would help.

Is the NAS on the same local network as your PC?

Note: Acronis does not use Windows mapped network drives - you need to create a connection from within the Acronis GUI using the NAS credentials.

Hello Steve Smith

Thank you for offering your help.

My QNAP is connected in the same local network as my PC, I share an image of the backup task configuration.

Regards.

Did your NAS use a SSD Cache? Have you tried to disble the SSD Cache (if used)?

Hello

No my NAS does not use SSD Cache, it is disabled.
I have read that the problem may be because of the SMB protocol, but my NAS has the latest SMB 3.0 version installed.

Greetings.

Dear Acronis User,
As far as we can see you have an open case, so we prioritized it. Hope our engineers will contact you soon.

Acronis User,

Do you have a user account established on the NAS, something other than the default admin account?  If not you need to do so then configure you backup to that account credential.
