But my True Image 2021 specific question about perpetual licenses has been moved to the new forum rather than redirected.
This speaks volumes.
How or why do you retroactively rename a product after it has been released? Surely, True Image 2021 and Cyber Protect are not the same product?
First you have missing perpetual licenses, now you have this: missing forums.

Logically, if one thing is identical to another thing, then there is no need to change its name to make it appear as if it's something else (when it's not; for it is identical).
But I don't mind that they are name changing. What I do mind is that they go as far as removing the podium for True Image 2021 discussions and in doing so, they are revising history. "What is True Image 2021?", she said. It's like it never existed, as if it was a mistake that deserved to be revised (erased).
I mean, how hard is it to create a brand new forum for "ACPHO" specifically and leave True Image 2021 alone?
These actions on the forums have wider implications and deeper meaning.
1. The new "ACPHO" is so much different than True Image 2021 that it shares the same forum as True Image 2021? Is this a joke or a serious fact? I think it's a serious joke.
2. We were previously told that the majority of Acronis customers prefer a subscription based pricing model. So much so that "ACPHO" had to reuse the forum of True Image 2021 to prove it?
Acronis needs to just open a new forum for its new product, like they always have been doing for the past 10 years or so. Is that so hard?
Yes Acronis, we know that "ACPHO" is a revolutionary new product and all that, but you can prove that by designating a dedicated forum for your "majority" user base that want this kind of product, and let the minority of us have our True Image 2021 forum space. Fair?
Herein lies their dilemma: they are afraid that no one will open the "ACPHO" forum so it's more convenient for them to impose on True Image 2021 territory with "ACPHO" questions. Just what I want... I want to click "True Image 2021" to read all about "ACPHO".
I keep putting this acronym in quotation marks. That's because I don't find it memorable. It's also not pronounceable. How do you say that? Achoo!? Ahchoo?! Actually that's not so bad for an acronym! Memorable and pronounceable! Much better than "ACPHO". Why do I hang up on the name? Because having a sellable name is more than half the job of getting people to buy it. "True Image" or "Acronis True Image" followed by a year was a bit of a mouthful. People often shortened it to just "ATI". Trying to memorize the full name of the new product (Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office) or even its acronym is worse still, it has turned into a word puzzle. I would rather go for Acronis Cyber Protect or even just Acronis Protect. Sure, it doesn't say then what it protects, but does "True Image" ever say what it's a true image of? It does not, but it was a successful product.
