Another question about DD10 and NTFS.

Thread needs solution

Hi, first of all, I myself didn't own DD10, but i have brought two 1 Tb hdd's thas was partitioned and formated by Acronis DD100 for me.(brought them about year ago). Now when i try to install windows 7 (another hard drive) i got all the usual problems with win7 and DD formated NTFS partition (like broken files that only XP chkdsk can fix and error in MFT BITMAP attribute, that is freaked me, but miraculously was fixed by XP chkdsk :) ). So, right now is kind of hard for me to install my win7, cause a have two large data partition, that is vulnerable to win7 ways :))).
I have simple question for acronis support stuff - do acronis plan to make any tools to "convert" DD10 formated partition
to win7 compatible one. (i doesn't matter some option in DD10 or some other tool, i just intrested it possibility). If "yes", possible release time would be grate, but i know it is very not likely you can give one. Thank you :)

PS: If any one can suggest any method of "converting" partition without losing data, you will make my day. :))))

DD10 is not compatible with Windows 7 and is not supported to work with it all all. Please also see this article which can provide further help regarding formatting for Vista but applies to XP too http://kb.acronis.com/content/2794.

I would recommend using using the Win7 installation formatting option and copy your data to external HDD or removable media beforehand which you wil be able to copy back from when Win7 is installed.
