Cannot use Windows File System(NTFS, FAT32) in partition creation
I bought a western digital 1T hard disk recently and connected it as an external USB disk onto my computer. The local hard disk on my computer is a 500G one. The Operating System is a clear WinXP SP2, And use the Acronis Disk Director Suite 10.
The problem is when I create the first primary partition of 20G on the empty 1T hard disk. I cannot choose NTFS or FAT32 file system. The only options are Ext2, Ext3, ReiserFS, Linux Swap and None.
Even after I choose it with 'None' file system, then I format it. It is still does not have NTFS or FAT32 option. But when I try to format any partition on my local 500G hard disk. It is well with NTFS and FAT32 option on it. Both of hard disks are using MBR partition tables.
Could anyone give me some help and advices?

Thank you for the reply. Now I use the Minitool Partition Wizard to complete the task on my disk.
The Build number on my computer is DD version 10.0(build 2, 160)
Now the screenshot in DD10 is as the attachment follows, DD10 still reports errors on the partitions.
For example, DD10 get the Partition Type is FAT32, But it show the file system is None as the screen shot shows.
