DD10 vs DD11 drive recognition
I have used DD10 ever since it came out but recently upgraded to DD11.... My problem is that in dd10 both of my hard drives are recognized as hard drives with the correct size and utilization. One is 500 GB and the other is 1TB.... So far so good.....
When upgraded to dd11 then only the 500 GB drive is recognized and the other is recognized as a super floppy.
When I installled this drive I wiped all of the partions ...just in case and then formatted the drive as NTSF....
10 recognized this but 11 does not and no one at Acronis can figure this out except to say it must be my computer that has a problem.
Funny that 10 sees it and 11 does not and it is my computer that is not working?
any ideas or am I better off just using DD10?

""When you wiped the partitions did you also zero out the MBR (sector 0) and Track 0? Sometimes there can be data there that can cause detection problems. ""
It was a brand new drive....I just run the partition section as a matter of form to make sure something did not "get by" the inspectors.

Yes, I meant when booted to the DD CD. It can help to tell if it's more of a Windows driver problem if the Linux-based CD can see the drive properly. If neither version sees it properly than it's more likely the detection method used by DD.
I would still try cleaning the drive (this can be done with DISKPART) and seeing if that helps.
