DD11 Unfinished Resize = Corrupted Partition? Help!!
Ok I need help with my External HDD. I was using Acronis Disk Director to add space to one of my NTFS partitions (210 GB) from some unallocated space (145 GB). So i clicked Resize and clicked how many GBs i wanted (70 GB from 145 GB) but when i was resizing i clicked stop because i thought it would take too long. But since I did that my partition says its corrupted because it couldn't complete the Resize. It shows as healthy in Acronis but when I try to resize it says "internal error check logs for errors". The partition still shows the correct size (when resized-280 GB) but in Disk management it says RAW. This partition has some of my backups from 3 laptops. Windows keeps telling me to format it but i don't want to lose my files.

Try running the recover partitions option. Try it in automatic mode to start with, if that fails try in manual.

Ok I'll try. Thank You for the support.

I was wondering since my Partition wasn't able to fully resize is there a possibility if I format the partition, it will be corrupted/unstable? Or if I delete that partition and create another, will it be corrupted/unstable? And which would be a better option since I recovered my files?
[edit] Well I just deleted it and made a new partition and put my recovered files back on. Thanks for the support.

Jason,
If you have the files from the corrupted partition somewhere safe, I would delete the partition and then start again.

Collin,
Ok but is there any kind of problems i might run into?

Hey, I'm not qualified to say.. But I'm in the same predicament. I went ahead with the format a file system with-in windows desktop than re-ran the recovery console from boot to restore just that corrupted partition.
But it seem strange quiet a few people have this problem.. I resized a partition then dedicated the remainder to another partition requested a restart to complete to carry out the operation then corrupted 66% complete leaving my D:/ without a filesystem showing in RAW. My Documents and settings were hosted on that partition leaving my profile all screwed up and with-out access to start menu programs system restore, disk management etc.
I'll let you know if it's worked..
Edit: Ok so it worked for 'me' =) P.s I also made it resize the partition before it restored
