Disk Director 11 Home doesn't find my USB 3.0 drive
Hello,
I have a new WD 3 TB USB 3.0 drive and my Acronis Disc Director 11 Home doesn't find it. What I must do that the drive shows up in Disk Director?
System: Windows 7 64 bit

You might try using a different USB connection (USB 2, if you only tried USB 3).
Does the same thing happen if you boot to the DD CD?
Acronis made DD very selective about what types of drives it displays (too selective, in my opinion). As a result, some "real" drives aren't available to use.

Hi,
I tried a USB 2 connection and the drive was not found.
Which CD you mean, I only have a download of DD?
Yes DD is very selective, I don't no for what I have purchased DD if I can't manage all of my drives. Has anybody an idea what else I can do!

I also have a new WD 3 TB USB 3.0 drive and my Acronis Disc Director 11 Home doesn't find it.
The WD supplied connector cable to the drive has two sides. One side for USB 2 and the other side USB 3 to auto recognize the computer card capability.
However, XP's disk management has no problem recognizing the Drive

Have the same probleme, no one on this side, who can help. Acronis Service ist much bad, I think.
If you want support, you have to pay after 30 days so much, than the whole program cost. It's a nice way to get money, yes?
