Need to expand primary partition on MS 2003 server

Thread needs solution

I am considering purchasing the software and need to know if it can complete this task.

I have a Dell Poweredge Server 2900
Running MS Server 2003 R2, SP2
Intel Xeon E5335 processor
2 500GB disks mirrored in RAID
The above disk(s) are partitioned with 12GB on the primary for the operating system (C:) and the remaining space (approximately 453GB) partitioned with data (D:)

I have abundant free space on the data partition, but am running short on the operating system partition. Can the software remove disk space from the D: partition and add it to the C: partition?

Hello Scott,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis Disk Director Server 10.0

You can use Acronis Disk Director Server 10.0 for your purposes.

Acronis Disk Director Server 10.0 is a complex program that includes partition manager and hard disk data editing tools. You can resize the system partition taking free space for the second partition  without data loss or destruction (the reboot may be required). Acronis Disk Director Server 10.0 supports RAID arrays. You can perform all available operations with partitions located on RAID volumes without any special precautions.

Please keep in mind that Acronis Disk Director does not support Windows LDM (dynamic disks).

I may also recommend you to install a trial version available here in order to make sure that the program runs flawless for you. Please see the limitations of the trial version.

If you would like to order Acronis software before the trial period ends, please visit the Acronis online store.

Thank you.
