Hi,

I have DD Advanced Workstation 11.

I don't see any option for the os Selector, so I assume it's not part of this version.

So, I'm wondering what people do that want to switch between two OSes that are in different partitions on the same machine, and would like to share the same data partition but have the other OS partition hidden so it doesn't get damaged.

(I have another machine with both XP and Windows 7 on it and the XP partition keeps getting something corrupted on it that has to be recovered. Apparently Windows 7 writes it stuff on all of the partitions regardless and doesn't play nice.)

That's correct - OSS is not part of DDA.

I'm not sure if not assigning the other Windows partition a drive letter in Disk Management would be enough to stop Windows from messing with it. In most cases, a third-party boot manager is used to hide the unwanted partitions for each OS.

I suppose you could buy DD 11 and just install OSS (assuming you want to use OSS).
