resize and delete broke both

I was resizing an external drive and deleting one of two partitions to make one large partition.
The partition that was being deleted was a primary. then I got a message saying corrupted file system... yet all was fine minutes earlier.... I am not sure where to go with this.... I am attaching the log file and screen shot of the log errors. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. I should also add it shows as not formatted healthy.... I tried recovery expert however it would not allow me to select the section.
