Just a note to say that I got a critical warning this morning from Drive Monitor that my primary drive had a bad block. I realize that it was just pulling the info from the Windows logs but who checks those with any regularity?!?

Sure enough, I tried to run chkdsk and it hung. I ran the Western Digital diagnostic utility and it reported a read error.

So, Drive Monitor alerted me way before I would have likely realized there was a problem with the drive and risked data loss (of course I back up with TrueImage).
