Hi,

I just installed acronis recovery for ms sql and running well. I have 2 task for backup, one task to local harddisk and one task to another pc via ftp. Why result backup not the same size, file backup from local harddisk (375,195 KB) smaller than file backup via ftp (464,110 KB). Is there something wrong?

Please advise.

Thank you for finding time to join us, we're glad to greet you here! I understand you concern, and will be glad to assist you.

The backup is fine: 

you're imaging the running database, and the amount of data may get changed during the backup creation, and these changes will also get registered. The backup to the FTP may take more time than the backup to the local drive. Thus the image to the FTP may be bigger than the image saved to the local drive.

If you still not sure whether everything is fine, you can send us the logs. We'll check the process of the image creation, and let you know whether there's anything to check or fix. Still, I'm positive that the backups are safe, and there is nothing to worry about.
