Acronis Snap Deploy 3 (Build #3501) -- SID not changing when option is selected when creating the template.

Thread needs solution

To anyone with a fix to this issue or knowledge on how to start rectifying this problem,

I'm having trouble with Acronis Snap Deploy 3 (Build #3501) performing a SID change after the image has been pushed to the workstation. I create the master image without using sysprep. Basically I have Windows 7 bootup, make sure what I want on the image is installed through the administrator account, and then shutdown the machine to proceed to the next step which is creating the master image. After this is completed I create a new template using the newly created .tib file and select "Change Security ID's" and then push the image out to the workstation. It completes this process and upon reboot never initiates the SID change. Any ideas why this is occuring? I do not want the same SID # on workstations that are joined to a domain. I have read Mark's article about it not being an issue, but Microsoft didn't program sysrep not to change SID's without reason.

I'm open to any suggestions or ideas.

Thanks,

Jeff

I was able to resolve this issue. I found that when you deploy an image without selecting "Change SIDs" and then you use that image to make your updated master image this allows you to deploy the new image properly with that option selected.
