Are you using build 282? If you aren't you may need to contact support for a download link to get this special build. I was told you would need this version to possibly get this to work, however it didn't work for me by itself.

I had to create a custom PE image using the windows 7 AIK 3.0 ( http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5188 ) and the acronis tool to create the PE image. You will need to download the drivers from Dell to insert into the PE image in order to make the NIC work. These are conveniently gathered into one package under System management in dells driver section labeled winPE drivers.

Hello Tohseef and bbam support,

Thank you for your posts and your help.

Tohseef, most likely the build that you are using does not have proper hardware drivers for the specific hardware. I have checked and I can see that you have not contacted our Support team yet, I will contact you via a private message and provide you with a download link for the custom build.

In case you need immediate assistance you can contact our Support team directly and I would appreciate if you could let me know if you need additional help.

Thank you.

Hi Anton,

could you please send the download link to me as well?
We have the same problem with some toshiba notebooks we use for training, and since they use the same NIC as the Dells do, I suppose the same fix should apply.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Marc

If you continue to experience this issue, I would appreciate if you can contact our Support team directly.

Anton,

I have been working this afternoon with Acronis web chat support. I am having the same problem listed here. Is there anyway you could please send me the link as well?

Thanks

John

Hello John,

Thank you for your post and welcome to the Forum.

I will send you a private message with the download link. Please let me know if you need additional help with the issue or the support case.

Thank you.

Anton, I'm experiencing the same issue with the 390's as above, would it be possible for you to send me the download link?

Hello Jeff,

Thank you for posting and welcome to the Forum.

I will provide you with a download link in a few minutes.

Please let me know if you need additional help.

Thank you.

Is from Japan. Have a problem with me as well.
Could you e-mail the download link?
Thank you.

To work around this problem I have installed Intel PRO1000 CT PCIe NICs in our OptiPlex 390 machines. I have been using Snap Deploy 4 BETA for over a year now, but I would expect this problem to have been resolved by now.
I purchased the Snap Deploy 4 licences today and downloaded build 268. Can anyone confirm whether this issue has finally been resolved and I can also use the onboard Realtek NIC?

Hello Everyone,

Thank you for your posts.

Dear Sir, unfortunately we do not have a custom build for the Japanese version at the moment. I would like to provide you with the English version as a temporary workaround, you can use your current serial number to install the English version.

Chiel, I will provide you with the updated version via a PM in a few minutes. As a workaround you can always use WinPe bootable media.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.

Hi,

We are running into the same issue with the Optiplex 390's not detecting the network card when using the boot media from Acronis 4.0.268. Could you assist us with getting an updated version that will work with the Dell 390's?

Thanks!

Hello Keith,

Thank you for your message. I will reach out in a few minutes via a private message.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.
