Configure DHCP server where PXE Server runs on another Machine
Hi there,
I'm a newbie at Acronis Products, so probably there are millions of other topics with this question, but ...
I install a Server with Acronis Snap Deploy 3 (Deployment Server) and at same server i just configured PXE Server.
I have another Server doing the job of DHCP Server that accept requests.
What do i have to configure at DHCP server to clients can connect into PXE Server?
Do i have to enable PXE Client #60, #66 (pointing to PXE Server)? and #67 (Bootfile name)? options at DHCP server? If have to do this what do i have to configure at #66 and 67# options?
Sorry but really need to put PXE Server running and depoying !!!!
Can you help me please !
Best Regards

Hello Ricardo!
Thank you for finding time to open the thread on Forum, and report about the issue, I really appreciate it! I understand your concern, and will be glad to shed the light onto the situation.
Currently PXE from the latest build of Acronis Snap Deploy should be working fine in such situation. So any issue will require investigation. Please gather Wireshark and exact sequence of steps performed, and contact support directly with the information attached. Unfortunately Forum is not a support channel (see TOU), and it doesn't provide us with an ability to assist Customers immediately, so for emergency cases we suggest to contact support.

I have an Acronis Snap Deploy 4 PXE Server hosted on my Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 machine, however when I connect the PXE-Client to the server I get an address from DHCP but I get a PXE - E32: TFTP Open timeout error.
I have dhcp option 66 set to the server address but cant seem to figure out the option 67 boot file name for the acronis server.
and when I removed the dhcp options 66 and 67 i do not get an IP address.
the only file i could find in the acronis directory was C:\Program Files (x86)\Acronis\PXEServer\bootwiz.bin.
How do I get the clients to boot into Acronis?

Hello,
1. Options 66 and 67 are not needed for booting from Acronis PXE server.
2. Make sure that DHCP server works fine and assigns IP addresses for clients.
3. Also, make sure that there is only one PXE server works within a subnet.
4. Check if ports 67, 68, 69, 4011 are not blocked by Windows firewall (where PXE server is installed) and network router.
Best regards.
