Deployment fails when attempting multiple machine deployment

Thread needs solution

Using the only build available for Snap Deploy 4 and I'm attempting to deploy 2 different images to several machines. I can get one machine to deploy and image with no issues but when I connect another machine to my PXE server and attempt to deploy a different image to the machine, I get a "failed to map bios disk 1" error and the machine reboots. I have reconfigured the network utilitatization from multicast to unicast and vice versa, and I get the same results.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hello Michael,

Thank you for your post.

This error can be caused by several things. For example, if your deployment template specifies two hard drives but the target system has only one hard drive, the deployment will fail with this error. If the master image has several partition but the target drive is smaller, the deployment will fail with this error during the partition resize. Some hardware detection could also cause this error, you can fix it by changing from IDE mode to AHCI/SATA. If the mode is AHCI, try switching to IDE.
