Install OS using PXE and shared CD drive

Simple scenario:

1 x buggered laptop that refuses to boot from local cd and has no floppy drive. Ethernet and PXE boot option available.
1 x simple home network

I want to put the installation media (ie Windows XP install disc) in my working machine's cd drawer. I then want the offending laptop to boot using PXE and then of course, install windows from the network.
Should be easy I'm sure..... Help!!!

Unfortunately we do not deal with the installation of Windows, we can only image the existing OS and deploy it to the target machine. Also please note that PXE will not work without DHCP in the network.

For your scenario I would suggest you to contact Microsoft support. I'm sure they are familiar with such types of scenario and will be able to guide you through the process!
