Machine doesn't show up after PXE boot

Thread needs solution

hello.

I am trying to get hands on acronis snap deploy.

I install it & upload the PXE server & add licences into. But when i boot the 2nd machine thru network acronis snap deploy agents window pop's up.it get's an ip address but on OS deploy server the machine doesn't show up.

i found one thing, machine where i install snap deploy server it had "16.128" ip address but on 2nd machine it show "16.129" connected to OS deploy server. I don't know how and from where 16.129 comes from. i check that address its been used by different machine and that machine doesn't have OS deploy server.

am totally confused, what should i do. nee help in this. please

thanks

Is the IP you're seeing a DHCP address being assigned to the PXE boot client (the workstation/laptop), or one that is reporting as the deployment server?

On your local network, you should be able to identify which system is actually using 16.128 through your DNS or DHCP server.  If you ping -a the address it might tell you the current DNS hostname of that system as well.  Or, if you're on an AD network, nslookup of the ip address may help identify it by name too.

Perhaps your deployment server has dual Nics and is broadcasting on both if this is a deployment server?  Or perhaps someone installed Snap Deploy 5 on another server at some point and it's still running?  You only want it installed once per subnet address space.

If you are using a deployment template, perhaps someone fat-fingered the IP address in the template so it's trying to use 16.128 instead of 16.129?
