Snap Deploy not detecting NIC Dell E4310

Thread needs solution

I have seen by other postings that the issue may be related to the PXE server drivers. Testing the trial version of Snap Deploy 3 for Servers (build 3329) and I cannot get the NIC recognized on the Dell Latitude E4310. Can I get instructions on how to update the needed drivers?

Hi Anton,

I have the same issues with Acronis Snap Deploy Workstation 3 (build 3329).
The internal NIC from my laptop DELL Inspiron Mini is not recognized.

Please send me the instructions.

Thanks.

Hello Damien,

Welcome to our forum and thank you for posting. I will certainly help you with this issue.

I would recommend the following steps to get this problem resolved:

1. Update to the latest build of Acronis Snap Deploy 3 3470. Please make sure that you have updated the PXE server and re-create the bootable media.

2. Please check if the new build fixes the issue, if not, collect this report from the bootable media and contact our Support team for proper investigation.

If you run into any other issues, or have other questions, please let me know.

Thank you.

I'm having the same issue as Allen and Julio trying to create a master image and the bootable CD is not detecting NIC on Dell Latitude E4310 Laptop.

It would have been nice to see what the solution was, instead of acronis sending the information in a private message.

I would appreciate if someone or technical support from acronis can share the solution with me, as I'm stuck with our firm's new E4310.

Thanks,
-Randy

Thanks Anton. I'm actulaly using the Acronis True Image product. Does the latest build of this application support the Dell Latitude E4310?

Thanks Anton. I'm actually using the Acronis True Image product. Does the latest build of this application support the Dell Latitude E4310?

Hello Randy,

Thank you for getting back to me.

If the latest bootable media cannot detect the network card on your machine, I would recommend the following workarounds:

1. BartPE media.

2. WinPE media.

Acronis True Image Echo is an older version of our software and we no longer develop it. You can try downloading a trial version of ABR10 Workstation and check how it performs on your machine.

If you need additional help, please let me know.

Thank you.
