Surface Pro 2 PXE Boot

Thread needs solution

Hello!

I have Snap Deploy 4 on a deployment server that I've been using successfully for over a year. When my organization began rolling out Surface Pro 2's I noticed Snap Deploy 4 doesn't seem to work with them. I can't even get the Surface Pro 2 to find the PXE server. I set options 66 and 67 in DHCP and test with a Surface: Nothing. Test with a laptop (Dell Latitude E6420): PXE Boots just fine.

I don't believe it's a DHCP issue, but I don't really know where to go from here. I understand Snap Deploy 4 isn't compatible with Windows 8.1 but I want to try it anyways or at least set it up for if/when the update comes through for 8.1 support.

Has anyone able to PXE boot with a Surface Pro 2? Or better yet, image Surface Pro 2's with Windows 8.1?

Thank you!

We PXE boot and image a Surface from Config Manager 2012. Had to use the Microsoft Ethernet Dongle for it to work though.
