USB - Ethernet adapter / driver issue, not recognized

I have created a WinPE 4.0 boot disk with the driver, I have tried a very basic different USB2.0 adapter with the Linux boot media, each time Snap Deploy fails to connect to OS Deploy Server. Laptop is a new (less then 6 months old) Dell XPS 13 ulatrabook with Windows 8.1. I took the master image using the stand alone image creator onto an external hard drive. But when I tried to use the Stand Alone utility to put that image back onto the machine, it acted like it deployed, but corrupted the entire drive. I'm not sure if it was a license issue since it didn't talk to my OS Deploy Server.

Thanks for any assistance! (Ideally I'd like to be able to use the Linux boot media (USB) and have it recognize the USB 3.0 ethernet adapter (Dell version).
