30 days to register?

Thread needs solution

Hi all. First post on the forums.

I purchased TI 2016 last week with two licenses. I used one key on a brand new Dell 5559 that came with windows 10 which I installed win 7/64 on. I have not decided which PC to use the remaining license on.

I read that I have only 30 days to activate my copy of TI 2016. Does this mean that I also need to decide which PC to install the second TI  license on before the 30 days is up?

Thanks.

Rob.

Rob - you should be able to activate at any time as long as you have a valid purchase order and license key - worst case, contact customer support and they should be able to sort things out if activation does fail for whatever reason.

Full software support is only valid for 30 days currently - I imagine this is the 30 day limitation you read about.  So, if you plan to use and make sure it's working with 30 days support, sooner than later would be good.

There is no problem switching systems if you install on one system and then decide you want to switch later - you'll just be prompted that you've exceeded your license installs and be directed your your account to remove it from one of the existing systems before you'll be able to install it elsewhere.

Bob, thanks very much for the information.

I've used TI at work for many years and it's the best imaging software available IMO.

I bought the "Backup Month" special which came with two keys and I have 4 machines so I was a bit concerened.

Thanks again.
