Acronis is hanging. Calculating time reminding

Thread needs solution

Hi!

I'm struggling with the following problem: Acronis True Image 2016 doesn't perform backup to a FTP storage. I can't cancel the job, I can't start a new one. In the UI I see "Calculating time reminding", when I press "Stop" nothing happening.
Why this happening and how can I permanently fix it?

I had the same problem with Acronis 2015, but by the time when I got it - my support period got expired. I've updated to the Acronis True Image 2016, for a while everything was working, now the support period is expired again and the same problem appeared.

Program version: Acronis True Image 2016 for 3 Computers, build 6571
OS: Windows 8.1 Pro v 6.3 Build 9600

Backup Source: Lenovo T440S
Backup Destination: FTP server which is hosted on a NAS device.
Network connection: wifi

Dmitrii, welcome to these user forums.

Please download the Log File Viewer app from the link in my signature below and use this to check for any messages that are being written to the logs when you attempt to backup to your FTP storage device.

The Acronis Scheduler Manager (also linked below) can be used to clean out any hanging scheduled jobs that may be preventing you from running the backup job.  You can use the get list to list what scheduled tasks are on your system and then use task zap to clear that list of tasks.
