Automated backup schedule doesn't work anymore

Thread needs solution

Hello,

I'm using Acronis True Image 2016 (build 6569) on a Windows 10 computer.

Since a couple of weeks the scheduled backups don't run anymore, though the last and the next backup are scheduled  and shown correctly in the main screen. The automated backups are scheduled for each week on Sunday at 8.00am. Even though my computer isn't always running at that time, the delay setting worked always fine.

Nothing was changed to the settings, the backups are written to a local drive where there's plenty of disk space left. I can't find the reason for this. Any ideas?

Thanks.

As a quick test, try creating a NEW task with similar settings, but a unique name.  Can a new task run OK, but not the old one, or do both fail the same way.

If you could download and run FTRPilot's log viewer and attach some of the logs, it may provide more info on the specific issue.  At this point, it's really hard to say as there's not a lot of information to go on.  Sometimes a computer just needs a reboot because pending Microsoft updates need to complete and have dropped a backgroudn service.  It's probably more than that, but I can only guess at the moment without some more details and logs to go by .
