Build 6571 - Cloud backup always fails

Thread needs solution

I have been unable to get the Cloud backup to complete since iinstalling the latest upgrade, has this hit anyone else or is it just me?

Apart from un-installing and re-installing? Is the online install download up to date etc?

Are you running Windows 10?  If yes did you reboot your machine after completing the install of the new version?  If not please do so and make sure you choose reboot, not shutdown.

I upgraded last night and all is well. However, for upgrades, I don't do them from within the app.  I have gotten accustomed to downloading the full installer from my account so that I can verify that I don't have any running backups and then right click and "run as administrator" to give the highest privileges for the upgrade.  After that I then reboot (if using fastboot, reboot is key since shutdown just results in hibernation and not a full system shutdown) and each update since 6027 seems to have gone quite well with none of the issues that others are reporting (like getting access denied when attempting to ugprade or having AV block part of the install).

I've just got my imternet back up again after the last storm flooded all the local junction boxes

At the same time I've upgraded to Build 6571.

Noticed that Acronis is very slow, it scans and backs up a bit, scans and backs up a bit more - this didnt seem to happen previous to 6571.

It just scanned and then backed up to the Cloud in a continuos stream.

Is this a function of the new build?

I don't think so, I haven't noticed any changes.  Try speedtest.net and see what your upload (not download) speed is showing now.

speedtest.net shows download @ 37Mbps/s, upload is 9.31 Mbps

Also when you "pause" a cloud backup, it has to start all over again.

Plus now I've changed the source to reduce the size it comes up with an error and wont start the backup

Think I'm going to have to re-install either TI or Windows 10, or both to see if that clears it

I don't think you have to restore - perhaps just try a new backup task to start with.  On your speed test... select the destination in Boston Massachusettes which is where the Acronis servers live.  I find that going to San Francisco, I get much better speeds (100Mbps+ download and 10Mbps upload) than I do going to Boston (75Mbps- downlad and 3 Mbps upload).  I'm testing beta 2017 and my Cloud upload speeds are averaging like only 300Kbps - it's super slow right now and I **Don't (edit) **know if it's the cloud servers, my ISP or the beta 2017 that is the problem at the moment.
