Cannot delete old e/mail backup

Thread needs solution

I upgraded to Acronis 2016 (from 2014). I perform scheduled backups to an external USB hard drive. 

ATI 2016 no longer supports e/mail backups so I deleted the old e/mail backups manually via file manager. That was a mistake. I should have used Acronis to do the delete. So I still have the e/mail backup showing in the list of backups. When I right click on it and select delete I am presented with a menu with one option, which is "Delete..." . I select delete and the only option presented it "WHOLE BACKUP". When I select "WHOLE BACKUP" Acronis says it is deleting the backup. This process never ends and it does not perform the delete.

I'd really like to delete this from the backups menu. Beside the fact that I simply don't want to see it there Acronis continues to try to run the e/mail backup on the schedule I setup under ATI 2014.

Any ideas?

Thank you for your posting! Please try the following:

Please delete all scheduled tasks using task zap command;

Then stop all Acronis services and rename:

C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts 

C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Database

Start services and recreate plans (re-add backups to the list).
