Cannot gain "exclusive access"

Thread needs solution

Hi Guys,

Need a bit of advice regarding an issue I'm having;

I have a scheduled, Daily backup running at 9pm everyday for my local C: drive SSD.
This backs up to a local backup drive in the following folder config:
O:\Acronis Backups\OCZ Agility SSD - C\

I have other non-scheduled backups that run on other drives to a larger external HDD.
One of these backups is of a 4tb Internal HDD that backups to a similar structure on the external drive;
ie: I:\Acronis Backups\WD4TB Black F Drive\

For some reason, I get a failed error message on the top scheduled job saying;
"Failed exclusive access I:/" when this backup has NOTHING to do with I:

Any one know why this is occuring?

(For bonus points, I'm also getting the "Last Backup: Never performed" message on 2 of my 4 external drive backups, and I KNOW i did these last week.)

You might try running a repair on the program installation.  Locate the app in the Add/Remove Programs or the Programs and Features tool in Windows depending on what version of Windows you are running.  Select the app and choose Uninstall.  This will produce a menu from which you will have an option to Repair.  Run the repair and see if that clears things up for you.
