Delete Win7 & Recovery since now Win10

Thread needs solution

I'm now Win10, do not need archived Win7 System w/Win7 Recovery.  But want to keep data files.  How to delete archived Win7, but keep data

Any tool for this?  Now using 2016 True Image.

Use File Explorer to navigate to your backup archive. Double click on the .tib file which will open the file in File Explorer. From there you can navigate to your data files and copy and paste to the appropriate location in Windows 10.

You can't modify the content of existing backups - they are static.  All Acronis backup .tib files are READ ONLY as of 2015 and newer do to too many "oopsie" moments with write mode being available.  So, your existing backups can't be changed, but if you do just need to restore data from them, then thomasjk's recommendation will allow you to restore the data out of them just fine.
