Error on running ATI 2016 Build 5518
On one Windows 10 computer I have successfully installed ATI 2016 and it runs successfully.
On another Windows 10 computer I have removed and re-installed ATI 2016 which will not start giving this error:
LoadLibrary failed with error 1114: A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed.
Please help? I have re-run the web installer but the error reoccurs.

Ok guys I found where is the problem!
If your PC has switchable graphic (intel+AMD) just add "TrueImage.exe" in "Switchable Graphics" and set it to "High Performance"
Everything will be ok now.

My notebook where the problem occurs does have switchable graphics (Intel+AMD)
Can you please be more specific where you add "TrueImage.exe" ?
I found it eventually in the AMD Catalyst Control Center.
Under "Power" and then "Switchable Graphics Global Settings"
You have to add "TrueImang.exe" in there.
Then it fixes the problem.

Hi,
I confirm I have also switchable graphics (Intel+AMD). The written solution to add "TrueImage.exe" to the AMD Control Center runs. In the same way is possible also to add Bootable rescue media. All other Acronis applications (System clean up or Clone disc etc.) is not possible to add to Catalyst.
Does anybody know how to fix it?

Unfortunately mine is an Intel machine and has no provision in the Intel graphics utility to add TrueImage.exe

The problem comes from Acronis and this company should very fast correct its SW. I also miss basic reaction from Acronis regarding this problem. It is not possible to act as if Acronis has nothing to do with it. But the opposite is true. I buy Acronis almost for 10 years. I know frequent errors but that SW is not running I have never seen it.

mefix you are correct!
It would appear from other exception entries in the AMD Catalyst Control Center that other program writers are aware of this problem with machines with switchable graphics.
Acronis should now include this to correct the problem in their install routine for ATI 2016.

Hi Anna Trifonova,
i had install ATI 2016 just now by download.
When I start ATI 2016 the the error message "LoadLibrary failed with error 1114; Eine DLL-Initialisierungsroutine ist fehlgeschlagen" appear.
So the defect is not fixed.
When can i get a version that works?

Hi, I have the same problem with Load Library Error 1114.
I have done the switchable graphics addition of trueimage.exe, which fixed most of it. I can now get the program to load, and preform backups. It wouldn't load without the fix.
But I can not get it to create the repair media tool. Error appeares and won't run.
I'm using brand new download of true image 2016, no updates to apply.
Windows 10 pro. Samsung with Ssd.
Acronis please help otherwise I won't be buying the product.

If you are referring to creating a TrueImge RecoveryCD,
then a alternae method of doing so would be to download the iso file from your Acronis account and burn the bootable media ISO file onto the cd as a separate transaction. If you have not registered your 64 character serial number, you will need to do so, before the downloads from your account is possible.

Hi, I did find a later build of Acronis TI 2016 did fix the Load Library Error 1114 on my particular notebook with switchable graphics. The 'fix' found by A D highlighted above did identify where the error in the TI setup program was occurring and sort out the problem.
In general I think that Acronis TI is turning into 'bloat ware' like many other previously good programs.
I am using it for a number of backup situations over a network to microservers. Sometimes it loses the name of the backup profile you've setup!
And it has to have too many background processes running!
