how to recover into partition

I have a 500 GB internal hard drive running Win 7 in a 300 GB partition - drive C: & I have a blank unused 200 GB partition - drive D:
I have an external hard drive with a recent image of XP from another compuer that I wish to install in the blank 200 GB partition.
My computer recognizes both drives. I can not find any way to recover this image to the partition. Please help.

Buongiorno a tutti,

ho dovuto disinstallare Acronis 2015 dopo l'aggiornamento a Windows 10, e ora che vorrei installare Acronis 2016 non so cosa fare. Qualcuno può aitarmi?
