Operation has failed

Thread needs solution

I've been on Windows 10 for about a week now (upgraded from Windows 7) and I've already run a complete backup to an external harddrive. All of a sudden, I'm getting an "Operation has failed" notification about every 10-15 mins. It's very annoying!!

I've clicked on it when it displays, I've gone into the Notification pane (nothing posted there from True Image 2016), etc, but nothing tells me what's going on. Anybody have any idea how to get this to stop?

Thank you.

Alan, please download a copy of the Log File Viewer app from this forum and use this to see what messages are being posted related to your Operation has failed notifications.  You are welcome to post copies of the log(s) if you need help in understanding the content.

Steve, thanks for the Viewer app. Looking at the latest log it was easy to see that ATI was trying to start a backup per a set schedule. Since I don't run backups on any set schedule, I'm not sure why a schedule was set! The backup was failing because my backups are on an external drive that's not attached to my computer at all times. Whatever... Went into ATI and turned the scheduling off. Should be good now.
