Successful backup but no archive file created

I've been running backups successfully for many months. I've now just realised that although I have been getting backup successful email notification messages, and acrnonis showing the backup completed, no backup files are being generated.

I've just re-installed the product, and still have the same problem.

I assume it stopped working after an update, but my only clue as to when, is that my last backup file is dated 1st November.

I'm backing up to a Westen Digital NAS Drive that is happily being shared, and used, on my PC.

Any ideas as to what to try next very much appreciated.

It appears you might be looking in the wrong place.

Check w or x

The log file shows the files being created in

The following backups have been successfully created:\\192.168.1.71\backups\NALD001_inc_b4_s25_v1.tib

The task which created the above no longer exists or has been deleted.

The only backup task you have nolw is the one shown on your main screen with backkup in progress and

that in progress back is stored in a different drive lettter than the successful link above.

Many thanks for the suggetsion, but I've just realized the date is incorrcet on my NAS, which will expalin many things. It was set to November, so Acronis was getting very confused with retention and such like.
