Is there a major difference between 2014 and 2016?
I posted a question last night about finding a program to backup to a hard drive. Today I was looking around the forum and I found a link in the side bar to Grover's guides. The problem is what is being shown there is totally different then the interface I have. He has what I was expecting when I bought the program. It looks and feels like software. There are all kinds of tabs and setting and a normal looking file browser. I don't have what you people have. I don't see any of those choices like it is presented in the videos. Some of the language is the same but that is about it. In the videos or screen shots it says Acronis true image premium in the top menu bar. Mine says Acronis true image cloud, which seems to be all it backs up to.
If they did change the UI then all those videos and screen shoots are going to be different.
Okay, I went back to what I have and messed around with it. This time when I clicked on the cloud icon it did change and now allows picking a disk or other location. This also opened up a bunch of other options. I clicked on that icon many many times before and it would not do anything. Now suddenly it worked, I don't know why. I will have to play around with it some more and see what it does.

dougw2007,
True Image 2016 is quite different than the 2014 version. One major difference is what you already know, that of the GUI interface. I recommend and cannot stress this enough that users READ THE DOCUMENTATION. There is a definite learning curve to the True Image application, one that demands a good understanding of the product and which can only be gained by reading the documentation.
