Unable to Update Acronis 2016 to Build 6569

Thread needs solution

I just installed True Image 2016 on my new computer - HP Envy, i7, 12GB RAM, 1TB HD. It says there is a newer version so I tried to update to that, but after seemingly updating (several minutes) is says Update Failed. I click on Details button and is sayssays Access Denied, I then click on Acronis Knowledge Base and get something that says there is no information on this error. I am currently at Build 5029, and would like to update to 6569. 

I then tried manually updating (AcronisTrueImage2016_6569.exe)  but same error. I uninstalled and tried installing (AcronisTrueImage2016_web.exe). The latter downloads, then says installing, but then says Install failed. Again no useful information. I tried the latter with my antivirus off, but apparently that was not the cause as it failed.

I subsequently re-installed from my purchased disk and still have the same problems.

I've reached out to Acronis for help (3 days ago) via an email but not gotten a response yet.

What gives? I have used 2015 for a long time on my old computer with no problems.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Unfortunately, this has been a known issue for some users when upgrading to either build 6559 or 6569.

Please see forum post https://forum.acronis.com/forum/117866 where this was reported recently which has details of how to resolve it.
