Utility for recovering corrupted tib files
I have a tib arch with two 128gb partitions each.
One of the two, in ntfs, turns out to be corrupted because it has come to a 30gb recovery it fails with error. I use Wd edition. Thank you.

I enclose image message error.
I'll try it with the suggested method as soon as possible.
I suggest creating a recovery utility for tib file validation. Bye.

Jok Jok, you screen image says "unable to restore the file or folder 'thumbs.db: encryptable: $ data'" which suggests that your backup image file may have included encrypted data.
Have you tried just Ignoring the error to see if the restore will continue past this point.
Also, what actual version / build of Acronis True Image do you have? WD is an OEM version of the product and is often of an older / obsolete version.
All versions of the product can only backup encrypted data if this has been unencrypted first, so if you have tried making a sector-by-sector backup of encrypted files or folders, this is not likely to be recoverable.

I tried to ignore it without success.
I have the WD 2016 version. How can I fix this problem?
Install the full trial version?

I doubt that installing the ATI 2018 trial software will make any difference here to this issue.
If you have ATI 2016 (WD) installed on your computer, then can you double-click on the .TIB file in Windows Explorer and try to look around inside the archive?
Also, have you tried to Validate the backup .TIB file and did this succeed or report any errors?

No, i don't use True WD on Win. I use True Wd edition by CD. How install WD edition on Win10?

If you have the Install CD or a downloaded installer program from ATI 2016 then this can be installed on Windows 10 as any normal program is. Once installed, then Acronis will integrate with Windows and provide options in Explorer to open/browse or mount .TIB file images.
If you don't have the installer for your WD ATI 2016 then you could either go back to the WD web site and see if it can be downloaded from there, or else download / install the 30-day trial version of ATI 2018 from the acronis.com web site.

I installed the program. Unfortunately, it is really tedious to copy files that had already been recovered. The drives I use are not particularly fast and billy times. It may be that most of them are already present. It would be a waste of time. Is there a way to exclude them from restoration?

If you open the .tib file in Explorer (or mount it to a drive letter) then you can simply just copy & paste your files that you want. If you mount the .tib file to a drive letter, then you could use a file synchronisation program such as the free SyncFolders to only copy those files which are not present etc.
If you have space on a local hard drive for the .tib file, copy it there from your slow USB drive then open or mount it from there.

How do I load the * .tib file as a disk? Can you do this with WD edition?

If you have installed the WD ATI application in Windows, then you should see extra options for Acronis True Image when you click on a .TIB file in Explorer.
See the ATI 2016 User Guide: Mounting an image for more information and guided steps.

Thank you for suggestion. I mount the .tib file to a drive letter. For synchronisation i use totalcommander but on 128 gb I recovered only 90 gb. From what I know I do not know the files are all there.
