Backup of Archives
Hi.
Just invested in TI which is currently performing a full system backup to my NAS Drobo. The setup and integration is great and gives newbies confidence.
One question please: if I use Archive to move old files from my desktop's C: drive to another drive in the system unit which has plenty of free space, are these automatically included in future backups? What if they were instead moved to another Share on my Drobo? If these Archive files or locations aren't subsequently by default included in backups, can this be set as an option?
Many thanks,
Mark

Many thanks, Steve.
Yes, I'd read through those pages, which are very helpful on almost everything, but neither there nor elsewhere could I see my specific question addressed:
Let's say when my current full backup of my PC desktop machine to the Drobo has ended, I then use Archive to delete the little-used files on my C: drive and archive them to my H: drive in the PC desktop (which has got a lot of spare space and is included in my current whole-machine backup).
I appreciate the original files will be deleted, but will future TI backups of the PC desktop machine include the Archive that I have created on its H: drive?
All the best,
Mark

Mark, if you have included your H: drive in your current full backup of your PC then the archived files stored on that drive should be included in that backup. I would recommend double-clicking on the backup image file and confirming this once the archive and backup have been executed, just for your own peace of mind.

Perfect: many thanks.
I'll give it a go and then check as you suggest.
