Bootable Recovery Meida for Windows 10

Thread needs solution

Is the Recovery USB Media unique to the computer it is created on, or does one TI-17 Bootable Media created on a Windows 10 computer work on all Windows 10 computers?

Also, what is the most reliable for Recovery Bootable Media in Windows 10: USB 2 or USB 3?

The simple answer is yes, your ATI 2017 rescue media should work with most other Windows 10 computers but this has little to do with the OS being Windows 10, as the rescue media is based on a Linux Kernel OS which should work on the majority of computers provided that no special device drivers are needed.

In terms of reliability, then my personal choice would be USB 2 but mainly because I have no USB 3 ports on any of my computers (due to the age!), but any USB 3 devices should be backwards compatible with USB 2 and 1, with the main change being the speed of operation being reduced to match the port being used.
