Brand new desktop - cloned HDD to SDD will not boot Windows 10
Thanks for any assistance in advance... I just received a brand new desktop. I added an ADATA SU900 256GB SSD, correctly installed. Prior to putting any software on my computer, I used the Acronis True Image HD software and cloned the HDD onto the SDD, which consisted mainly of Windows 10. I then changed the BIOS to boot to SDD first.
My issue is that Windows 10 will not boot. I get a black screen for an extended period of time until I reboot into BIOS to change the boot drive back to the HDD to successfully boot back into windows.
Any help would really be appreciated!

Thanks for the reply and the help Steve. I tried what you suggested and it still did not boot, I just received the same black screen. Any other ideas?

Sorry to hear that the suggestions didn't help, it is possible that the SSD copy of Windows or important parts of this have been corrupted from booting into Windows with both drives connected where these have the same disk signature etc.
Please see topic: [IMPORTANT] CLONING - How NOT to do this!!! which was written because of these type of situations from cloning.
