I just bought:
Acronis True Image Subscription - 1 Computer, 2 Years (Includes 50 GB of Cloud Storage)
+
Acronis Cloud Storage - 250 GB, 2 years (Requires Acronis True Image 2017 (or earlier version of Acronis True Image))

What if I want to increase the cloud storage from 250 GB to 500 GB one day?

Reinout, if you sign in to your Acronis account on the web, you should see an option to either buy more storage or to upgrade, i.e. http://www.acronis.com/personal/buy-backup/

If not, then please speak directly to Acronis Support who will be able to help you further.

Just contact customer suppport via chat if/when the time is ready and they'll help you purchase additional storage space for your account.

The process for adding storage is a bit convoluted, but easy enough:

1) Login to Acronis account

2) Click on Buy more option

3) Choose 1 PC and click on 1-year subscription and add Acronis cloud storage (250,500 GB etc)

4) Click on Proceed to checkout

5) Click Remove under Acronis True Image subscription license and you will get only Acronis Cloud Storage added earlier

6) Enter the payment details and purchase it.

When you get the invoice it says that it is stated:

Requires Acronis True Image 2017 (or earlier version of Acronis True Image).

If you wish you can choose a two year subscription rather than a one year subscription. In Australia 2 year 500 gig cloud subscription is currently less than AU$30.

Hi all,

It's better to use the in-product Acronis Store for purchasing additional Cloud storage, as it is the only official way to buy Cloud storage separately. We do not provide a possibility to select Cloud tiers apart from a Subscription license on the web-site, so it is a kind of workaround.

Thanks for the post, this is exactly what I was looking for.
Is it possible that before, the in-product store button forwarded to a website instead of a popup window?
Anyway, this is the way to go.

Hi Ekaterina,

When I tested this to reply early on, the only option I'm linked to is to purchaes 5 licenses for $199.00.  I can delete the cart, but then it says to start over.  When I click on the Acronsi store, the only option is again for 5 licenses of $199.00.  Is this a bug, or perhaps due to how the MVP licensing is provided or the current allowed storage space?  I checked again just now and that is still the only option available to me through the Acronis store.

I see somthing different - see screenshot. Are you using build 5554 or 5555? It may be due to my already having 5 user licence.

I'm using 5554.  I am using the MVP provided license though and only had perpetual license of my own before that, so may be why I'm prompted to purchase 5 at this time.  Curious if that's the case, or perhaps the Acronis store is configured to show different options in different locations, or just something unique with my own account.  I did have trouble awhile back as my forum account and Acronis account were not in synch and had to be manually assigned to each other at one point. 

Yes it is strange; this change to the in-App verion of Acronis Store is relatively recent. Previouly it did not have an option to merely increase the cloud storage.
