Did my Back up complete?

Thread needs solution

I am using Acronis Treu Image 2017 for the 1st time. I have 127Gbs of Data to back up entire PC to Secure Zone. I created 150Gb Secure Zone  and proceeded with back up. Data bar completed @ 59.8 Gbs now when I go to home dashboard it reports that 112Gbs of 150Gbs free which tells me that the entire backup only used 38Gbs.

I have use earlier versions of Acronis True Image with XP / Vista and Windows 7 and the compression rate was never this low?  I am running Windows 10 Pro with a 1Tb SSD and a  1Tb Sata 6.0 Drive which has the Secure Zone on it.

Thomas, welcome to these user forums.

Please download a copy of the Log File Viewer app from the link in my signature below and use this to check the service log for your backup to the ASZ, this should tell you if ATIH 2017 completed the backup successfully, plus it will also list the files / folders that were excluded from the backup.

Typically, we would expect a compression ratio of between 20% to 30% for backups, but this depends on the types of files stored on your source partitions, some files such as videos, images & music are already highly compressed.

You are welcome to post a copy of the log file data to the forum if you need help in understanding the content.
