Fastboot problem fixed in ATI 2017

Thread needs solution

The email offers to upgrade from 2016 to 2017 finally came down to my price. But I'm happy with 2016 with the exception of the problem of scheduled backups not running with fastboot turned on. The only way I'll upgrade is if the problem has been fixed.

So, has it?

I have two Windows 10 boxes, one is a clean install (home) and one was upgraded from Windows 7 Pro for free. Both systems experienced this extremely aggravating problem. The lack of log files doesn't help.

Thanks for looking.

No issues for me. It is identified as a fix in the 2017 initial release last year.

The log files are there, it is just that Acronis (inexplicably) has not provided a viewer for them. However FtrPilot has created one which is extremely powerful. Find out more in this post

Thanks for the replies.

Yes, I knew the log files were there somewhere, but with no convienient way to view them in the Acronis program without jumping through hoops. Probably should have phrased that another way in my original post.

Good to know about the fastboot problem being fixed. That in itself is enough to make me want to upgrade. I don't have any use for the other new features advertised for 2017. (backing up facebook (don't do it, never been on it)), backing up phones, tablets, etc...

Anyway, thanks again for the info.

Have a great day!
