How can I Grab Burned DVD

Thread needs solution

I have burned DVDs using Acronis Home 2011 True Image. Now, since that of data to backup, I use pretty big quantity of DVDs. Problem comes, I lost the original videos, so I have to grab burned DVD, but   I do not know what to do? I tried some programs, such as wondershare https://www.youtube.com/user/Wondershare and DVD grabber http://www.videoconverterfactory.com/tips/dvd-grabber.html, but it failed I did not know why since I am not familiar with these programs, so I need to purchase some another Acronis production? Or any better idea.

Thank you very much.

Anna, welcome to these User Forums.

I am sorry but I do not really understand what the issue is here that you are writing about?

What are the DVD's here?  Are these videos that you want to make backup copies of, or are the DVD's where you have stored Acronis backup image .TIB files that you now want to recover?

If you have got Acronis backup image .TIB files that were created by the ATIH 2011 application, then you may have issues with restoring these with the latest ATIH 2017 software due to compatibility issues?

See KB 1689: Backup archive compatibility across different product versions which shows that you may need the older ATIH 2015 product to guarantee compatibility with backups created by ATIH 2011.  It is possible that the 2017 product can work with the 2011 files but the document is saying that Acronis have not tested this combination of product and files.

If you still have an Acronis account where the ATIH 2011 software was registered, then you could try downloading the offline Acronis bootable Rescue Media .ISO (CD image) file and burning this to a CD.  This could be used to boot your computer and work with the 2011 .TIB files (assuming that it will still work on your computer for booting).
